According to Julian Van Winkle III, the Family Reserve Rye is drawn from a stock of much older, vatted barrels. A blend of legendary nineteen-year old rye whiskeys from the 1980’s, expect flavors of maple syrup, tobacco, leather, red fruit, rye bread, and musty wood. Highly recommended.
